Some of you noticed that our server, Matthew, feeling a little bit bad. His health has been a little bit up and down recently, but it just made me think of something, this was not part of my planned homily. But often when we’re doing the Encounters, the Encounters with Jesus, we experience a lot of well, the people come, the people made these Encounters, they have testified to a lot of graces. But before the Encounters, we have all sorts of problems here, all sorts of things, problems happening, whether it’s air conditioning or plumbing or all sorts of things. And we’ve often, we also noticed that the people who come often report that they’ve experienced a lot of problems, you know, whether it was like traffic problems or job problems or health problems or family problems, all sorts of things that came up and to the point where they were on the point of not even coming. And it reminds me of – and this again isn’t something I prepared for Christmas – but there’s a great St. John Mary Vianney. He had also a great name, and he was a priest who had a lot of well, he would often be attacked by satan, by the evil spirits, especially at night, you know, sometimes physically, but all sorts of ways. He was attacked. But he began to notice a pattern that he began to notice that the times that he had the worst attacks was the night before there was going to be special graces, like someone having a great conversion the following day, to such a point that he began to see it as a good sign when he would be especially attacked by the evil one. And so that’s something I think a lot about here, because we experience, I think, a lot of harassment from the evil one here. And I often, like oftentimes, the people who are coming to the Encounters also experience that. They tell us that all the time. And so a lot of you may have experienced, you know, harassment as you prepare for Christmas. You probably had some nice ideas, and then things go wrong and so you get angry, frustrated, sad. And we’ve had, as I say, a lot of things, problems as we’re preparing, even for this Mass but that’s, as I say, often a very good sign that the evil one is not happy with what the Lord wants to share. “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light upon those who dwelled in the land of gloom, a light has shown for the yoke that burdened them, the pole on their shoulder, the rod of their taskmaster, you have smashed as on the day of Midian. For every boot that was tramped in battle, every cloak rolled in blood, will be burned as fuel for flames. For a child is born to us. A son is given us Upon his shoulder, Dominion rest. They named him wonder, counselor, God, hero, Father forever, Prince of Peace.” This is a special Christmas for us, because it’s the first Christmas of what the Lord has called His Reconquest. And so it’s been a challenge, a very challenging year for us, but also a year with a lot of graces, because we’ve finally been able to share what the Lord has been sharing with us for many years. And so that’s what I want to share with you tonight, something I would have liked to share many years before. This was a message that Sister got in December of 2017 which was the first year that she began getting messages. And it’s the message that we’ve been sharing excerpts of in the recent weeks, leading for our of Advent. But I thought it’d be good tonight to be able to hear it all together on this Christmas night, and it’s a lot of it is very simple, but there’s a lot of depth, of deep graces in it. And so if you want, you can even close your eyes as I read this. “Florecita, Let us write for my community and team, my beloved little children.” So again, it was originally just for our community and for the team here, but I think the Lord is wanting to share with all of you who are becoming connected and bonded to this mission. “My little ones, the days, the feast of Christmas, are approaching, and how many longings, memories fill your heart. Some of them of happiness, others of sadness and nostalgia. The world has distorted the sacred sense of these days with materialism, making My children turn their gaze downwards to what is human, and thus becoming susceptible to the sadness of not having everything perfect for that season. But these are the holy days in which to lift the eyes to Heaven, to Me full of hope because of the fulfillment of My promises. How many centuries, how many promises and prophecies given to My prophets that were finally fulfilled in My first coming, and that will have their complete and perfect fulfillment with My Second Coming. That you My little shepherds of these times will behold.” That you My little shepherds of these times will behold. “It is the time of hope and of consolation when you feel sad and overwhelmed, think of these days, which are days of light, of great light, because of the fulfillment of My promises, and that give you strength in the awaiting of the fulfillment of all My promises that is about to happen. My first coming was a wave of grace and of events awaited for centuries. My second coming will be an ocean of grace and mercy, in which all will recognize Me, and which will be revealed all that has been hidden for centuries because the time had not yet come. I am coming. My little ones that are so tired, so fed up putting up with so many trials, come to the manger My little ones, and lay down your little head next to mine, also little surrounded by the smile of My mother and that of My St Joseph and the serenity and peace that is present there. Take Me in your arms with simplicity, for I want to rest and receive consolation in them. Having Me in your arms, let Me open the fountains of tenderness in your heart, as I did with My St Joseph on that night, the fountain of tenderness that softens your hearts and lets Me mold them is the fountain of My love in you that springs up to give consolation to others and to your God, the fountain of crystalline water that you can offer to relieve the terrible thirst for love that there is in the world, and that allows Me to open these fountains of tenderness in the hearts of My other children. This holy fountain that is one of the first things that sin in the wounds caused by one’s own sin or that of others, closes, covers seals or dirties, pollutes, and once this fountain is blocked, the heart hardens more and more. That is why I came as a baby, a little one that could be taken in arms, to move the hearts of My children and to be able to open, once again, this fountain of tenderness of My love in you, thus softening, preparing the ground of the hearts, in order to receive, first, the work that My John the Baptist accomplished of opening the furrows, removing the weeds, and after that, be able to receive the most holy seed of My Word. And after that of My blood, everything in order, I do this in each of My children, over and over again, until I make of you a lush orchard, until I saturate you with My blood, My seal, My little ones, so beloved, Take Me in your arms. Remember that what is done in faith is done in truth, even if you do not perceive it thus. My little ones, I want to rest in your faith. Rest in your heart, take Me in your arms, without fear, without embarrassment, because I come gladly, and I come with so much love. I take you into My arms, and you take Me into yours. Let us spend these holy days that are coming in this way. How much I love you. I wait for you, your little Jesus.” So that’s the message where He says, what is done in faith, is done in truth, that we can truly receive Him in faith in this night. St Faustina would sometimes see the Lord, have visions of the Lord in different ways, during Mass, in the host and at midnight Mass, she shares, during the Midnight Mass, that she saw the host become the child Jesus, there present on the altar, reminding us that when we receive Jesus, when we receive Holy Communion, on this Christmas night, we’re truly receiving our Lord, who has become a little child. It’s truly not just an image of the mystery of Christmas. It’s truly the reality of God, Emmanuel, that that we can live in faith. “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light upon those who dwell in the land of gloom, a light has shown. For a child is born to us, a son has given us. Upon His shoulder Dominion rest. They name him, wonder, counselor, God, hero, Father forever, Prince of Peace.” So in the sacred mysteries of this holy Mass in the presence of the angels, like the angels who manifested at Bethlehem that night. With our Blessed Mother, with Saint Joseph, with the poor, simple shepherds of Bethlehem, let us receive our Lord, Who comes as a baby for you, personally. Amen.
