His love draws Him to you. We meditate this Christmas on a message He gave us about the mystery of Emmanuel, God with us. And the promise of His coming.

“No more shall people call you forsaken or your land desolate, but you shall be called My delight and your land espoused. For the Lord delights in you and makes your land his spouse. As a young man marries a virgin, your builder shall marry you. And as a bridegroom rejoices in his bride, so shall your God rejoice in you.” These words that the Lord reveals through Isaiah and that we heard tonight help us to penetrate a little into the mystery of this night. Here in our poor little chapel, at our little mission, we are united to that little stable, that little grotto, which was so poor and which became so rich. Something so mysterious was happening there. In science fiction, they like to talk about a portal, a mysterious connection between two very different places and times. And it’s something like what happens in the Mass, and in this Mass, in this little chapel tonight, uniting us to that stable. And so, I’ll read this little passage again. “Thus says the Lord, No more shall people call you forsaken, or your land desolate, but you shall be called My delight, and your land espoused. For the Lord delights in you and makes your land his spouse. As a young man marries a virgin, your builder shall marry you, and as a bridegroom rejoices in his bride, so shall your God rejoice in you.” So shall your God rejoice in you. And so, this prophetic message is speaking to us of this mystery as the gospel said, of God with us. Emmanuel, God with us. God joined us to Him. God drawing you to Him, God coming to you and calling you to Him, to union with Him. All the Mass leads up to communion, to Holy Communion, to union with the Lord, leading us to what God desires, union with you. And I wanted to share with you a message. This was a message that Sister received just a few days before Christmas on December 16 in 2017 and I shared it with you last year. I shared it here last year, but I think as I was praying, preparing this Mass and asking, what does God want to tell us tonight, I felt it was good to listen again to this message. And so, this message again, this was given before we could publish the messages, so this was just given to our little team, but I think it’s good to share it with you all. And it’s speaking of these two comings of the Lord, the Lord’s coming at Bethlehem, 2000 years ago, and the Lord’s Second Coming, and this mystery of the Lord coming, the Lord coming, even right now in this Mass. And so, if you want to, as I’ve said, you can always close your eyes, if it helps you to focus on this message. “Florecita, let us write for my community and team, my beloved little children. My little ones, the days the feasts of Christmas are approaching, and how many longings, how many memories fill your heart? Some of them of happiness, others of sadness and nostalgia. The world has distorted the sacred sense of these days with materialism, making My children turn their gaze downwards to what is human, and thus becoming susceptible to the sadness of not having everything perfect for the season, as they say. But these are the holy days in which to lift the eyes, to lift your eyes to Heaven, to Me, full of hope because of the fulfillment of My promises. How many centuries, how many promises and prophecies given to My prophets, and that were finally fulfilled In My first coming, and that will have their complete and perfect fulfillment with My second coming that you My little shepherds of these times will behold. It is the time of hope and of consolation. When you feel sad and overwhelmed, think of these days.” And Sister, adds a little note here, saying meaning of the days of Christmas. “Think of these days, which are days of light, of great light, because of the fulfillment of My promises, and they give you strength in the awaiting of the fulfillment of all of My promises that is about to happen. My first coming was a wave of grace and of events awaited for centuries. My second coming will be an ocean of grace and mercy, in which all will recognize Me and which will be revealed all that has been hidden for centuries because the time had not yet come. I am coming. My little ones that are so tired, so fed up, putting up with so many trials. Come to the manger, My little ones, and lay down your little head next to mine, also so little, surrounded by the smile of My mother and that of My Saint Joseph and the serenity and peace that is present there. Take Me in your arms with simplicity, for I want to rest and receive consolation in them. Having Me in your arms, let Me open the fountain of tenderness in your heart, as I did with My St Joseph on that night, the fountain of tenderness.” And here, Sister adds a note. She says, we usually identify the word tenderness with weakness or with nice feelings, how sweet. But what I perceive in this word, when Jesus uses it, is something that goes way beyond the emotions. It is something that moves the heart in the deepest, most intimate part of our being, and that is part of our true being, far beyond our mere humanity. So that’s the note. And so the message continues. “The fountain of tenderness that softens your hearts and lets me mold them is the fountain of My love in you that springs up to give consolation to others and to your God, the fountain of crystalline water that you can offer to relieve the terrible thirst for love that there is in the world, and that allows Me to open the fountains of tenderness in the hearts of My other children. This holy fountain that is one of the first things that sin in the wounds caused by one’s own sin, or that of others, closes, covers, seals or dirties and pollutes. And once this fountain is blocked, the heart hardens more and more. That is why I came as a baby, a little one that could be taken in arms, to move the hearts of My children and to be able to open, once again, this fountain of tenderness of My love in You, thus softening, preparing the ground of the hearts in order to receive, first, the work that My John the Baptist accomplished of opening the furrows, removing the weeds. And after that, be able to receive the most holy seed of My Word and after that, of My blood, everything in order. I do this in each of My children, over and over again, until I make of you a lush orchard, until I saturate you with My blood, My seal. My little ones, so beloved, Take Me in your arms. Remember that what is done in faith is done in truth, even if you do not perceive it thus. My little ones, I want to rest in your faith, rest in your heart. Take Me in your arms, without fear, without embarrassment, because I come gladly, and I come with so much love. I take you into My arms, and you take Me into yours. Let us spend these holy days in this way. How much I love you. I wait for you, your little Jesus. Amen.
