“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth for the first heaven, and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.” This passage we have today from the second reading from the apocalypse is from Chapter 21, it’s almost the end of the apocalypse. Last week we had a reading from Chapter 7. So, we just jumped from Chapter 7 to Chapter 21 so we missed most of the apocalypse. We just jumped over most of it. So I’ll come back to the end of the apocalypse next week, but it’s important to not just jump over the rest of it, because it’s very important. It’s talking about the great struggles that the Church is going through, but also it talks about it with great hope. And so that’s what I want to focus on today. And I’m not going to try to summarize it all. That would be, we don’t have time for that. I’m just going to focus on one point, which I think is especially important for what we’re living right now, and the importance of prophetic messages, prophetic messages in Scripture, and the other prophetic messages that the Lord has been giving throughout the history of the Church and that he’s giving right now today, are important because they permit us to know beyond what we can understand humanly. There’s all sorts of human experts giving their opinions, and those can be helpful. Those can be, but they’re human. And when God is doing mysterious things and when the devil is doing very deceptive things, we need that light from heaven, and that’s what the apocalypse is giving us. And so, the part I want to focus on is in Chapter 13. So, I’ve been referencing this for the past couple of weeks. So, the apocalypse also called the Book of Revelation, it has spoken of first, a red dragon, and then it spoke of a beast like a leopard coming from the sea, which represents the spirit of the Antichrist. And then, and this is the part I want to focus on. I’ll read you what it says. “Then I saw another beast which rose out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb.” So, it’s not a lamb, but it has something like a lamb, “and it spoke like a dragon, and it makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast,” that represents the Antichrist. “It works great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in the sight of men and by the signs which it is allowed to work in the presence of the beast, it deceives. It deceives those who dwell on the earth.” “Deceives those who dwell on the earth, that dwells on the earth.” That doesn’t mean just those who are living on the earth, but that means those whose life is centered on this earth, they’re being deceived. “It bids them to make an image for the beast, and it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast so that the image of the beast should even speak and to cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain. Also, it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark. But is the name of the beast or the number of its name, this calls for wisdom. Let him who is understanding reckon the number of the beast. For it is a human number. Its number is 666,” the famous 666, and so, of course, this, these passages are very mysterious. I want to share with you something which helps to understand this passage, and it’s from, I’ve often spoken of the book of the Marian Movement of Priests, that there’s a priest Don Stefano Gobi, an Italian priest who in 1973 he was making a pilgrimage to Fatima, and he had a special experience. He began here sensing Our Blessed Mother speaking to him, what’s called interior locution. And he began getting a series of messages, which went on for many years. And there are many bishops and cardinals who are very supportive of him and his movement. And St John Paul was also. And so, in his book, the Blessed Mother gives an interpretation of this, and she says, and of course, sometimes these symbols can have various meanings, different levels of meaning. But here she speaks of the Red Dragon as representing Marxist atheism, communism and the atheistic spirit. And then the beast, the beast like a leopard that’s coming from the earth. She says it represents freemasonry, especially freemasonry in its especially as it’s known in Europe and in the Latin countries. That is that this worldly secret, worldly network of power and influence. A lot of it, what the popes have called modernism, the spirit of modernism, which creates its own worldly idols and its anti-commandment and anti-virtues. But I want to focus on what this book says, on this other beast, the beast like a lamb. And so this is a message from June 13, 1989. And so I’ll read it to you. It says, “beloved sons.” So this book is addressed, first of all, to priests, but it’s very helpful for anybody, you don’t have to be a priest. “Beloved sons, today you are calling to mind my second apparition, which took place in Fatima on June 13, 1917. Even as of then, I foretold to you that which you are living through in these times.” Again, this is why these prophetic messages are so important, because they help us. Instead of just seeing things with the very limited range, human range that we have, they help us see what is really going on. And the book of the apocalypse doesn’t announce a world where everything just goes on pretty much the same, with a little bit of ups and downs. It shows a world in which there are great struggles, but which lead, because of the intensity of the attacks of the evil one and his deceptions, but which lead to God’s triumph. And so, it gives a much greater depth to our understanding of what is happening. She says, “I announced to you at Fatima, the great struggle between me, the woman clothed with the sun and the huge Red Dragon which has brought humanity to live without God, atheism. I also foretold you the subtle and dark work carried out by freemasonry with the purpose of separating you from the observance of the law of God, and thus making you victims of sins and vices. Above all,” so, she says even more than that, she says, “above all, as Mother, I have wanted to warn you of the grave dangers which threaten the Church today,” and this is already in 89, “which threaten the Church today because of the many and diabolical attacks which are being carried out against it, to destroy it.” And what she’s going to show, it does not destroy it by simply eliminating it, but destroy it by corrupting it so that it can be used for evil purposes. And so now she’ll go on to give an explanation of what the beast, like a lamb, represents, and how the lamb was the biblical animal of sacrifice, and also some aspects which represent, from Scripture, the priesthood, the high priesthood, and relating to bishops and the hierarchy in the Catholic Church. And so, it says, she says, “the black beast like a leopard, indicates masonry. The beast,” so that’s the first beast, “the beast with two horns like a lamb indicates,” this is very important, “freemasonry infiltrated into the interior of the Church.” Freemasonry infiltrated into the interior of the church. That is to say, ecclesiastical masonry, ecclesiastical masonry. So, this spirit of this hidden, secret spirit of worldly influence. Signs which has penetrated into the Church, and she says, “which has spread especially among the members of the hierarchy. This masonic infiltration in the interior of the Church was already foretold to you by me at Fatima, when I announced to you that satan would enter in even to the summit of the Church,” “even to the summit of the church.” Dr Taylor Marshall wrote a book, it’s not a very long book, but called ‘Infiltration’, in which he shows how there’s documented evidence that several centuries ago, the freemasons began in the lodge in Italy, began a very strategic, well planned, patient attempt to infiltrate the Church. And many popes for centuries have condemned freemasonry and that there would be an automatic, any Catholic who joined it would be automatically excommunicated. So, the Church has spoken very strongly against this, and because of this attempt to infiltrate the Church and their own documents say this will take a long time, because we have to start at the bottom and slowly work ourselves, work our way up. And there’s another interesting book by a priest, Father Charles Murr. It’s called ‘Murder in the 33rd Degree,’ and he’s still alive today. You can see him, for instance, on Lifesite News. And he was friends, and he was in Rome with the Cardinal. Well, he wasn’t yet a Cardinal. He was made a Cardinal. Later that time, he was a bishop, or Daniel, a Canadian who was charged with by Pope Paul the sixth with investigating claims that other Cardinals had raised about how freemasonry had penetrated into the hierarchy, but that even in the Vatican, high ranking members of the Vatican were active freemasons. That was the charge, and they singled out especially two. One was Archbishop Anibale Bunini, who was in charge of the implementation of the liturgy after Vatican II, who is the person primarily responsible for the great changes, and many would say, the great devastation that was done to the liturgy after Vatican II. And the other was one of the most important positions in the Vatican, the Cardinal who was in charge of bishops, naming new bishops. So, these are very, extremely high positions. And so, the cardinal Daniel did this very careful investigation, and he had all sorts of attacks against him. And I don’t have time to go into the whole story. The reason that this is called ‘Murder in the 33rd Degree’, it’s because it’s referencing also thinking that this Fr. Charles Murr wonders whether the death of Pope John Paul the first who died after only a month, was related to this investigation. And so, I don’t have time to go into all the evidence that those two books gives, but it’s interesting that Francis was so applauded by the masons. Had they succeeded? Had they succeeded in him, in arriving at getting a person with their spirit at the very summit of the Church? And if that’s the case, but you know, the Archbishop Vigano, who’s very well informed, spoke of Francis as a usurper, and that’s the word that the Lord gave us in the messages that Sister Amapola received, usurper. And if this patient, centuries long, by this powerful network, and there’s some evidence that also the US intelligence services were involved in some of those things. If this was the case, do you think they did not have a plan when Francis was going to die? Do you think they would work for centuries, but not think that, well, Francis is going to die at some point, so we better have some way to follow up. So, I go back to what the book says. I mean this what our Blessed Mother is saying,” if the task of masonry is to lead souls to perdition, bringing them to the worship of false divinities, the task of ecclesiastical masonry, on the other hand, is that of destroying Christ and His Church, building a new idol, namely a false Christ and a false church.” And again, that’s key. It’s not just eliminating them; it’s creating a false Christ and a false church. And then she goes on to say, “Jesus, Christ is the Son of the living God. He is the word incarnate. He is true God and true man, because He unites in His divine person, human nature and divine nature. Jesus, in the Gospel, has given the most complete definition of Himself, saying that He is the way, the truth and the life.” And so, the rest of the message is going to focus on these three points, the way, the truth and the life. “Jesus Christ is the truth because He reveals the Father to us, speaks His definitive word to us, and brings all divine revelation to its perfect fulfillment. Jesus is the life because He gives us divine life itself with the grace merited by Him through redemption. He institutes the sacraments as efficacious means which communicate grace. Jesus is the way which leads to the Father by means of the gospel which He has given to us as the way to follow to attain salvation.” And now she’s going to show how this false spirit falsifies each of those three points. “Jesus is the truth, because it is He, the Living Word who is the font and seal of all divine revelation. And so ecclesiastical masonry works to obscure His divine Word by means of natural and rational interpretations, and in the attempt to make it more understandable and acceptable, empties it of all its supernatural content. Thus, errors are spread in every part of the Catholic Church itself. Because of the spread of these errors, many are moving away today from the true faith, bringing to fulfillment the prophecy, which was given to you by me at Fatima, the times will come when many will lose the true faith. The loss of faith is apostasy. Ecclesiastical masonry works in a subtle and diabolical way to lead all into apostasy.” Then the second point “Jesus is the life, because He gives grace. The aim of ecclesiastical masonry is that of justifying sin. Are presented it no longer as an evil, but as something good and of value…” like we can think of the pride parades. Pride is one of the worst sins, and we have parades which are called pride parades…, are “presented no longer as an evil, but as something good and of value. Thus one is advised to do this as a way of satisfying the needs of one’s own nature, destroying the root from which repentance could be born. And we are told that it is no longer necessary to confess this pernicious fruit of this accursed cancer which is spread throughout the whole Church is the disappearance everywhere of individual confession. Souls are led to live in sin, rejecting the gift of life which Jesus has offered us.” And then the third point. “Jesus is the way which leads to the Father by means of the gospel. Ecclesiastical masonry favors those forms of interpretation which give it a rationalistic and natural interpretation by means of the application of various literary genres in such a way that it becomes torn to pieces in all its parts. In the end, one arrives at denying the historical realities of miracles and of the resurrection, and places in doubt the very Divinity of Jesus in a saving mission. So, seeing scripture in only a human way.” And so that’s showing how the way to create a false Christ. And then it speaks of creating a false Church. “After having destroyed the historical Christ, the beast with the two horns, like a lamb, seeks to destroy the mystical Christ, which is the Church. The Church instituted by Christ is one and one alone. It is the one holy, catholic and apostolic Church founded on Peter. As is Jesus. So too is the Church founded by Him which forms His mystical body, the Way, the Truth and the Life.” And so now we’ll look at those three points as they concern the Church. “The Church is truth because Jesus has entrusted to it alone the task of guarding in its integrity, all the deposit of faith. He has entrusted to the hierarchical church. That is to say, to the Pope and to the bishops united with Him, Ecclesiastical masonry seeks to destroy this reality through a false ecumenism. It develops the plan of founding a universal, ecumenical church found by, formed by the fusion of all Christian confessions, among which is the Catholic Church.” So, losing what is characteristic of the Catholic Church in a type of universal church. Then the second point. “The Church is life, because it gives grace, and it alone possesses the efficacious means of grace, which are the seven sacraments. Especially it is life because to it alone is given to beget the power of the Eucharist,” the very sacrament that we’re celebrating now, “by means of the hierarchical and ministerial priesthood. In the Eucharist, Jesus Christ is truly present with his glorified body and His divinity. And so Ecclesiastical Masonry, in many and subtle ways, seeks to attack the ecclesial devotion to the Sacrament of the Eucharist. It gives value only to the meal aspect.” That is, it sees the Holy Eucharist only as a meal. “It tends to minimize the sacrificial value.” That is, that the Holy Eucharist is the sacrifice that Jesus made present. “It seeks to deny the real and personal presence of Jesus in the consecrated host. In this way, they are gradually suppressing all the external signs which are indicative of faith in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, such as genuflections, hours of public adoration and the holy custom of surrounding the tabernacle with lights and flowers.” And then the third point, “the Church is the way, because it leads to the Father through the Son and the Holy Spirit along the way of perfect unity. As the Father and Son are one, so too must you be one among yourselves. Jesus has ruled that His church be a sign and an instrument for the unity of the whole human race.” And so, then she talks about the role of Peter and his successors as being a sign of unity for the whole church. And so, you could say, well, isn’t the Mission of Divine Mercy rejecting that by what we’ve said? But one thing is to reject the true successor of St Peter. Another is to reject a usurper, and that is what we believe the Lord is saying, that is the case. And so, then this message ends by our Blessed Mother calling us to consecration to her Immaculate heart and love for Jesus and His Church. And I want to, just now, to go back to the book of Revelation After this, because after these beasts and the struggles that it shows, then it shows the victory. It says, “And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against him who sits upon the horse…” (So, Him who sits upon the horse, is Jesus Christ, the Lord of Lord and King of kings) “…and against his army. And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet,” So the false prophet is a represent, is what the beast like a lamb, because it’s giving false prophecies. It’s not truly speaking in the name of God. And so that beast that I’ve been talking about is also called, in Book of Revelation, the false prophet. “And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire, that burns with brimstone, and the rest were slain by the sword of him who sits upon the horse, the sword that issues from his mouth.” And so, this reminds us that no matter how evil and powerful and deceptive these beasts are, the victory belongs to our Lord, who is Lord of Lord and King of kings. And so next week, God willing, we’ll look at that great victory and the conclusion of the book of Revelation. But just to conclude today, so our Blessed Mother at Fatima and in many other ways, including our time today, has been warning us, just like our Lord in the book of Revelation, about the times that we are living today and the struggles that the Church is going through, alerting us to the attacks that are going on today. And I should mention that Sister Amapola, who’s been sick these past couple days, and seeing what the Lord has taken advantage of that to, on Friday, He gave her a new message, which I think will give a lot of clarity to what’s going on with the Church right now, after the concave and with Leo the 14th. And so, I hope that maybe by next week, we’ll be able to publish that message. I just want to give you that heads up, because these messages are both calling us to be vigilant, that we are in a battle. The battle is not over. As the message from the Lord that I read on Divine Mercy Sunday said, “The battle is not over, it’s beginning.” So, He’s calling us to be vigilant, but not to be anxious, not to be worried, but to be trusting in Him, and that can give us peace and confident hope that all is in His hands. And so, we gather in the Mass to be aware of the struggles that are going on, that are the great spiritual struggles, but with our confidence in Him. And I’ll end by a final passage from the book of Revelation. This is from Chapter 11. And if you want, you can close your eyes to listen to this. “Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven saying, ‘The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign for ever and ever’, and the 24 elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying, ‘We give thanks to You, Lord, God Almighty, who are and who were that you have taken your great power and begun to reign. The nations raged, but your wrath came, and the time for the dead to be judged for rewarding your servants, the prophets and saints and those who fear your name, both small and great, and for destroying the destroyers of the earth.’” Amen
