Throwing Themselves Across the Chasm

… I give Myself in the Most Holy Eucharist as your living bridge into the presence of the Father.  This too is the work of every priest of Mine: to throw himself across the great chasm that separates sinful man from the holiness of My Father. Thus does he replace Me — take My place and represent it — in every Mass as mediator and bridge.

Of himself, the priest cannot attain to this work of mediation. It is only because he bears within him the indelible mark of My priesthood that he can become the mediator between My Father and His sinful children.  He is authorized to do so by the Holy Spirit who marks him for this essential priestly work at the moment of ordination.

The representation of My Father, of His interests and His desires, is the task of My priests. One who sees My priests see My Father because I have set apart My priests to be the images of My Holy Face in the world until the end of time.  The more closely a priest is united to Me, the more vividly will he reveal My Face, and therefore, My Father, to souls.

I do not stand before My Father alone; every priest of Mine participates in My heavenly intercession before the Father’s face… (Nov. 13, 2008  — From IN SINU JESU: The Journal of a Priest at Prayer)

I saw the weariness of a certain priest for whom the Lord has traced out a hard and difficult road; but the fruits of his work are alive. May God give us many such souls, capable of loving Him in the midst of the greatest torments. (#1014 , From Divine Mercy in My Soul: The Diary of St. Faustina)

Lord, give us holy priests; You Yourself maintain them in holiness. O Divine and Great High Priest, may the power of Your mercy accompany them everywhere and protect them from the devil’s traps and snares which are continually being set for the souls of priests. May the power of Your mercy, O Lord, shatter and bring to naught all that might tarnish the sanctity of priests, for You can do all things.  (#1052 Diary)

Summer Mass Schedule

There will be a Sunday Mass every weekend this summer,

EXCEPT for the first two weekends in July: July 5 and July 12.

There will be no Saturday Masses in July.

During last Sunday’s Mass this mockingbird perched on the Cross that tops the Teocalli. It sang loudly during part of  Father’s homily, trying to compete for attention.

Men Needed for Sunday Volunteers

Sunday Mass at Tepeyac requires a larger number of  volunteers to:

  • Greet people at the gate,
  • Direct parking,
  • Drive golf-carts
  • Usher on Tepeyac

We have a great crew of volunteers, but the Covid situation has eliminated some of our older volunteers for the time being.  Getting some new faces would help everyone.  So if you have been thinking about  volunteering, or are thinking about it for the first time: please email Bob Williams at  Thank you!
