A Light for Revelation

Canticle of Simeon

“Now, Master, You may let your servant go
in peace, according to Your word,
for my eyes have seen Your salvation,
which You prepared in the sight of all the peoples:
a light for revelation to the Gentiles,
and glory for Your people Israel.”
Lk. 2: 29-32

O Mary, today a terrible sword has pierced Your holy soul.
Except for God, no one knows of Yours suffering.
Your soul does not break; it is brave, because it is with Jesus.
Sweet Mother, unite my soul to Jesus, because it is only
then that I will be able to endure all trials and tribulations,
and only in union with Jesus will my little sacrifices be pleasing to God.
Sweetest Mother, continue to teach me about the interior life.
May the sword of suffering never break me.
O pure Virgin, pour courage into my heart and guard it.

Divine Mercy In My Soul

For the second year in a row, Miller & Miller Insurance has presented MDM with a generous donation. The gift is one of several that the company has given to various organizations and non-profits in the area over the last few years as a way of giving back to the larger community.

MDM says “Thank you, Doug!”

Dennis Hank, Flo Sultemeier and Doug Miller of Miller & Miller Insurance present a check to Fr. John Mary and Sam Kneuper.

We want to make sure that everyone is aware of our “Sacramental Shed” where Blessed Salt, Blessed Candles, Blessed Oil and Holy Water are available. The door may be closed, but the shed is almost always unlocked and you are welcome to serve yourself. A donation box is inside.

“Through the blessing of the priest, salt, oil, water and candles transcend their simple material identity and become vessels of Divine Grace.”
