Standing Firm When the Earth Quakes

As we have said many times before, God is not limited by anything except a lack of Faith.

Realize that this unprecedented time when churches have been closed has served to purify, for many of us, our intentions and reason for seeking God.

During this time He has been forming us in childlike, steadfast Faith.  Living Faith, that is capable of piercing through all the confusion of the enemy’s plans, his darkness and deceptions. Helping us to “see” through the eyes of Faith what is impossible for the “eyes” of the body (our reason) to see. We need to see and trust that:

GOD IS THE SOVEREIGN RULER OF ALL.

HE IS THE VICTOR.

HE IS THE CONQUEROR.

HE IS TRUTH.

Trust that all that He allows to happen has a reason and purpose, even though it is impossible for us to understand now.

All that He asks us to do – all that we can do – is simply believe, accept, receive in Humility, Faith and Obedience. ONLY in this way can we stand firm, unshakeable in the terrible “earthquake” that we are experiencing.

You may feel exhausted. We all feel exhausted, though in different ways, as all of us have different missions, and experience different difficulties.

Know that the difficulties you experience may have three “origins”:

– a natural origin
– a spiritual origin (attacks of the enemy)
– and a mystical, divine origin — the sharing in the Cross of Jesus and in His Plan of Reconquest

If you are trying to follow His Will for your life then do not fear, or allow discouragement to swamp you. Unlike an earthly employer or commander, God does not look at our works.  Instead He looks at the Faith, Obedience and Humility that underlies our works, not whether we have accomplished the works.

GOD DOES NOT NEED OUR HELP. HE CAN ACCOMPLISH ANY AND ALL WORKS IN AN INSTANT.

But He loves us and wants us to be His co-workers in His greatest work – the reconquest of all souls created by Him. This is His greatest work and it has lasted from the beginning of time and will continue until the final trumpet sounds.

He calls us to not be afraid of anything. God will always give you the grace to deal with what He asks of you. All in its time. Even if you do not sense the Grace. It is and will be present.

Remember, He loves you.

Do not be afraid.

We carry His Blessing like a Seal upon our hearts.

Men Needed for Sunday Volunteers

Sunday Mass at Tepeyac requires a larger number of  volunteers to:

  • Greet people at the gate,
  • Direct parking,
  • Drive golf-carts
  • Usher on Tepeyac

We have a great crew of volunteers, but the Covid situation has eliminated some of our older volunteers for the time being.  Getting some new faces would help everyone.  So if you have been thinking about  volunteering, or are thinking about it for the first time: please email Bob Williams at bob@missionofdivinemercy.org.  Thank you!

Another Way to Help

You may recall that this past year we signed up with an auto auction company in order to be able to receive donated vehicles, as a way to increase our donations. Recently we experienced  the first fruits of this effort! We received a check from the auto auction company  for nearly $4,000 for a donated vehicle.

All of the vehicles used by the Community have been donations. But some  offers we couldn’t accept because they were older than our current  vehicles, or they simply weren’t appropriate for use by the Community.

Now we are able to accept all sorts of vehicles, boats, RVs, etc and turn them into cash; none of which requires us to transfer title, etc. And, very importantly, they can come from any where in the country. We are grateful for this opportunity. Please keep the Mission in mind if you have a vehicle or other conveyance with which you wish to part. Just call the office at  830-302-2238. Thank you.
