Fr. John Mary reminds us that all is in God’s Hands no matter how confusing or distressing events may be in our lives. We must always have Faith and Trust in God’s Divine Plan knowing that God uses EVERYTHING for the good of those that love Him.
- What does God’s eternal wisdom want to tell us today when so many people are troubled with our country’s situation?
- We are to trust, obey and wait for Him and not be afraid because he formed us for these times.
- God uses these times to temper our faith and permit a collapse in order to rebuild.
- Always seek and abandon ourselves to God’s will.
- Remember that His heart is our homeland where light will shine for all eternity; over us, around us and within us.
Uncertainty surrounding coming elections can bring divisiveness to our country in many ways. As we struggle during these troubling times, we should ask ourselves what is God asking of us during these times?
In a recent meditation, Father John Mary brings to our minds the importance in remembering that God has asked us to trust Him, to obey Him, to wait for Him, to not be afraid and remember that all is in His hands. We are reminded to give Him our fears and anguish while keeping in mind that all of this is temporary and to look to the eternal destination which is our homeland in His heart.
Reading from book of Wisdom – in the critical situation our country is going through – many different opinions of what is going on and what needs to be done – but what does God’s eternal wisdom want to tell us today – many people troubled about situation in our country – election very divisive – all want fair elections – numerus allegations- possible fraud – probably legal battles – might be possible unrest and violence – how trustworthy is the media – in all this what does the Lord want to tell us today – Jesus told us “do not let your hearts be troubled” – a meditation – has God not told us to trust Him, to obey Him, to wait for Him, do not be afraid, all is in His hands – all is useful to Him – His plan is unstoppable – do not be afraid – do not let your hearts be troubled – God may seem silent, but He is not idle – He has been preparing us our whole lives for these times – our Mission will be accomplished in these times – his Grace will help us in these times – He has formed us for these times – forming us in unshakable faith – special grace He asked for this Mission, faith so that God can act – steel must be tempered in order to be strong – God uses these times to temper our faith – not easy but necessary – permits a collapse in order to rebuild – He alone knows when and how His plan unfolds – He reveals to us what is sufficient for us to know in order to cooperate with Him – what we see is very little – calls us to love and defend our country from evils that threaten us – He gives us an eternal homeland, which is His heart – earthly paradise is temporary – on earth all things are temporary, they have a beginning and an end – calls us not be alarmed and frightened – we are held closely in His arms – let us not surrender to fear – understands our anguish – He takes it as a sacrificial offering – must look to Him, according to His plan – set aside our ideas and place His will as central jewel of our crown, we shall banish fear or evil – the key is always seek God’s will above all – abandoning ourselves to His will – He shows us how not to give into fear for the sake of His children – trust Him – it is His work to fix things – it is our work to trust Him – He knows how hard it is – when nothing seems to change – our mission here at the Mission of Divine Mercy a long extended martyrdom – He sees and He knows – to trust Him – His words are truth and will be accomplished – we don’t understand the reason for so many permissions for evil to act, hurt and destroy – must make a blind act of trust – and faith – of all that He does or allows – works for the good, eternal good of all His children – not a temporary good that has an end, lift up our eyes to Him, leave behind the corruptible – light that will shine for all eternity, over us, around us within us, when we return to our homeland, His heart – remember His heart is our homeland – earthly life will end there, in His arms – will wake up to eternal life there – His heart, our home – give Him our fear and our tears, anguish that racks our heart – may His blessing descend upon you and be sealed in your heart, that wherever you go, this blessing will bring light and understanding, to so many that live life in darkness out of fear and confusion – Jesus we Trust in You – Come Lord Jesus – Amen.
