What might our Blessed Mother want to say to us tonight? Her only desire is always to bring us to Jesus.

Key Points
- Every year on New Year’s Eve, Fr. Goby’s messages calls priest and those reading the book to spend New Year’s Eve as a time of intercession and recollection for the Church and for the world.
- Our Blessed Mother invites all who listen to her to take time, to spend some time with her at the end of the year in preparing for the new year.
- John Mary reads a message from Fr. Stefano Goby’s book.
Summary
Mary’s role throughout history is always leading us to Jesus. No one has loved Him, no one has believed in Him, no one has adored Him, no one has understood Him, as she has. And her only desire is always to bring us to Jesus.
“When the fullness of time had come, God sent His Son born of a woman.” I remember a long time ago, many years ago, way back and probably was like, I think it was 1978 or 79. I was reading a book someone had just given me a book by an Italian priest Father Stefano Goby. And he sensed these were interior messages, interior locations that our Blessed Mother had given him to start what was called the Marion Movement of Priests. And as I was reading, that book had a big impact on my life, a big impact. And one of the things that struck me as I was reading through these meditations, these messages, was every year, on New Year’s Eve, there was a special message, calling the priests and all who are reading this book, to spend New Year’s Eve, as a time of intercession and recollection, interceding, interceding for the Church and for the world. And that was kind of surprising to me, because I didn’t really think of New Year’s Eve as, as a time of special spiritual significant. We have a lot of important feasts like Christmas and so forth, and feasts and Mary Mother of God, but New Year’s Eve, that’s a very big, secular celebration. And I didn’t really think of it as having a special spiritual significance. But then I was struck each time, each year, there was one of these messages, calling for the importance of spending this time in intercession. And that doesn’t mean that it’s wrong to also have some New Year’s Eve parties. But it is a very simple, one of the most valuable things we have is the time that the Lord has given us. And but the time that we’re going through right now, is very, very challenging, very, very important. And so probably this past year has had some ups and some downs in our own lives, maybe some hard times, and then we look forward with hope, but also with struggle, and perhaps anxiety, to all that’s going on. Just very recently, of course, we’ve had a lot of signs of violence and so forth. And so, our Blessed Mother was inviting all who had listened to her to take time, to spend some time with her at the end of the year in preparing for the new year. And so that’s, what we’re doing right now, it came from this idea to this wanting to respond to this call on New Year’s Eve. And we used to do it, I think we’d have the Mass around midnight, even maybe 11 o’clock and end at midnight. We moved it earlier, because it’s for security reasons. We used to have a Mass and then we’d have a gathering, the festival gathering. So, it’s like maybe 1:30 or two o’clock, by the time we’re ending, so that was kind of late. And so, we didn’t want people traveling too late, so we simplified things. We just have a Mass, we moved it earlier. But that Spirit remains, the spirit of spending this as a time of intercession. And so, as we end this 2019 and begin to prepare to begin 2020 as Mother Magdalene said, I think years as she said, are becoming more and more important, more as if the battle is increasing every year. On this day, that the Church, it’s the day, a World Day of Prayer for peace. And at the same time, it’s at that the octave day as the Gospel said, “it’s the day on which the Jesus officially and like formally received His name of Jesus.” And so, the Church celebrated as Mary, that they have married the mother of God. So, what might our Blessed Mother want to say to us tonight? That’d be interesting to know, it’d be helpful to know what might she want to share with us tonight. I wanted to I share with you one of the messages precisely of that book I was just mentioning. This was on this feast in 1997, and it’s entitled, “Jesus Christ is the only Savior” because Jesus came to us through Mary. And Mary’s role throughout history is always leading us to Jesus. No one has loved Him, no one has believed in Him, no one has adored Him, no one has understood Him, as she has. And her only desire is always to bring us to Jesus. And so, as I read this meditation feel free if you’d like to, close your eyes. “Today, you are beginning the New Year by celebrating the feast of your Heavenly Mother. And you are contemplating me and the mystery of my Divine maternity. I am True Mother of God, because the Son to whom I have given flesh and blood, for His human conception, is the eternal word of the Father, and is true God.” And then there’ll be several phases taken from the very beginning of St. John’s gospel. “In the beginning was the word, that is to say, from all eternity, the word is in the bosom of the Father, as His only begotten Son, begotten, not created, consubstantial with Him. He is God Almighty, all knowing, eternal. The Word was with God, as His perfect image, reflection of His glory, eternal, subsistent word, Son, in whom the Father is forever pleased. The Word was God. Through Him, all has been created. Everything that exists in the universe, bears His indelible imprint. The word took flesh and came to dwell among us. I have been chosen as mother, to give human nature to the word. Thus, I have become the true Mother of God, my Son, Jesus, a few moments before dying, has given me as mother to all of you.” That’s very important that Jesus Himself who’s given Mary right before He died on the cross, to be mother of each one of us. “My maternal task and respect to you is exercised in leading you to understand the mystery of His Divine person. Jesus Christ is the only Savior.” And at this time of where there’s so much turmoil, so much confusion in our world, at this time, when it can be as one year ends and another begins at time to step back and kind of see where our life is going. It we need to focus on what is most important, to have a clear, clear orientation. And that’s what she’s given us, that orientation is always to Jesus, the only Savior. “He is God with us, and the mystery of the Holy Birth, you come to understand what a degree of a basement God has chosen to become completely one with all of you. He has assumed the human nature, He has imposed upon Himself the limitation of time and space. He is born like every other creature, He has been placed in a manger. He has lived according to the pattern of life of every human being. He has become a child like you. He has grown through the stages of adolescence and youth. He has experienced the very same feelings as you. He has become sensitive to love and been wounded by pain. He is delighted in friends, He has suffered because of enemies. He is God for us. He has chosen to become one with us and all things except for sin, and virtue of the love which God has for His creatures. From God, He became man to become the only Savior of man. And so I have been called to be the mother of the Redeemer, united to Him in a special way, in the painful work of your salvation. He is God in us. The precious fruit of His redemptive work is the return of man to a full communion of life with God. God can live in you with His love, with His grace with His very own life. God has become man in order to live in the life of each man. Thus, humanity is brought back to a full communion with its creator and savior. My motherly task is that of leading you all to Jesus Christ, your God and your Redeemer. Only that will humanity, be able to enjoy the inestimable blessing of peace. Jesus is your peace, peace between God and humanity, peace among all of you, called to be children of God, and to form one single family. Peace is the fruit of love. Peace is born of goodwill. Peace brings us to harmony, and to the brotherhood of all. To bring true peace. It is therefore necessary to receive Jesus Christ, who is the King of peace.” Another quote from St. John, “to all who received Him who believed in His name, He gave power to become children of God, who are born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” “During this year, I invite you to follow me, along the way, have a deeper understanding of the mystery of Jesus Christ, to God, and King of eternal glory. Jesus Christ is the only Savior. His word contained in the Gospel leads you to salvation, because it is a word of truth and of life. I will lead you to full understanding of His divine word, I will cause you to love and live the gospel of my Son, Jesus. I want to lead you to love Jesus, with my very own motherly heart. For this, I asked you to consecrate yourself to my Immaculate Heart. In this way, you come to be prepared by me, to receive Jesus Christ with joy when He returns in the splendor of His glory. And then you, also My little children, will be able to behold His glory, glory as the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. On this day, I look upon you with maternal predilection, and I bless you all, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.”
